Where every figure comes from, and how sure we are of it.
The unit
1 ø is 100 g CO₂e. 2 ø = 1 kr, priced at the market cost of verified carbon removal (verified removal ~5,000 kr/t (blended durable portfolio, mid-market Aug 2026)). The unit is minted at the removal rate or not at all — that is what stops the currency being arbitraged hollow by cheap prevention credits.

A whole Danish footprint is around 355 ø a day once overhead and the month’s lumpy costs are counted. 130,000 ÷ 365 = 356 — the same person, at a different scale.
How the four figures relate
One model, four scales. The month is the day, amortised, plus the things too lumpy to decide daily — the day set is contained in the month set, not separate from it. Food, driving and home energy are in both; housing, goods, freight, travel and a car when you buy one are in the month only.
Society overhead — hospitals, schools, roads — is 1,975 ø a month, or 65 ø a day. It is shown because it is yours and not counted because you cannot choose it. Every figure here traces to CONCITO’s Danmarks globale forbrugsudledninger (2023): 13 tonnes per person per year, across 282 products in 15 groups.
How sure we are
Every item carries a confidence rating. 265 of 518 are estimates that have not been independently audited — stated here rather than hidden, because a price list that pretends to uniform certainty is not one you can argue with.

Corrections
One price — car tyres — was wrong in public and was corrected from 3,500 to 1,400 ø. Prices are versioned, and an entry records the version it was charged at, so a revision never silently rewrites what someone already banked.
